“Darwinian paradox.” If you google this, you’ll find what role homosexuality plays in evolution and how it serves the purpose of taking humanity forward.

A lot of homophobic people hurt homosexuals by saying they have no evolutionary purpose. I myself had these questions thrown at me which always puzzled me until I dug deeper into this and found something amazing and I hope you guys will find this interesting & educative.

So, as we all know, evolution is basically the process of species adapting to changes for survival (natural selection) & procreating for sustaining the species. Which means, as a species, we sustain if we adapt & procreate. But this is where homosexuality comes into picture.

Human beings have a very high potential of reproducing which is evident from the fact that the world human population has grown from 2 billion to 7 billion in just 300 years. To stop humans from overpopulating the earth, mother nature played her part by introducing homosexuality. If you look around the nature, more than 1500 species of animals engage in same-sex sexual behavior which is evidence of homosexuality being natural.

Studies have shown that homosexual people tend to care more for their nieces and nephews. Homosexual people have also been evident to adopt kids and bring them up perfectly. These are evolutionary advantages how mother nature has created this beautiful natural phenomenon to sustain the human species. So, next time when you hurt homosexuals by saying they have no evolutionary purpose, think twice. They are just how mother nature shaped them to be, which is caring & loving as parents and as guardians.
