You know what I love most about being queer? They can’t ever wipe us away altogether. You may give us a life sentence in prison, you may lynch us and stone us to death. But you can never wipe us out altogether. Because we are your children. The children of your children. And the children of their children too. You may wipe away the internet and burn out the last book containing the word “homosexuality” but 20 years into the future, you can’t stop a guy from falling in love with another guy. You can’t stop a girl from falling in love with another girl. We’re the pesky goddamn insects you’ll never get rid of and we’ll make our nests inside your skull.
